French Summer STEAM Camp Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph and Cambridge

Our unique Franco-STEAM Camp will focus on science, technology, innovation projects, arts, mathematics. Furthermore, our children will have an hour of outdoor or indoor games to instil the idea that a healthy mind comes from a healthy body. Our camp will offer challenging and fun-filled activities for school-aged youths aged between 6 and 12 years old. Franco-STEAM Camp will be running from June 29th to July 10th 2020. The hours of operation will be from 9h00 to 16h00 Monday to Friday at (to be determined).  Extended stay is also available. Please see our Costs Section for more information.

To ensure the safety of our participants, Franco-STEAM Camp will use a daily check-in and check-out system. At all times, young people must be registered by an adult on arrival and departure. To do this, a register of names, previously submitted, with a photo ID will be used for each child. 

To register, please complete the forms pertaining to your child in the "Formulaires/Forms Section" and buy the appropriate package online by clicking the button below. Campers will be refused admission to any Franco-STEAM Summer Camp if the session fee has not been paid.  All cancellation requests must go directly in writing through the Franco-STEAM Camp for approval. Cancellations made by June 1st, 2020, will receive a full refund less a $25.00 administarative charge per child. Refunds are not available for cancellations received, after June 1st, 2020, unless with a medical certificate. Pro-rated refunds are NOT available for days absent or other services not fully utilized. The Franco-STEAM Camp reserves the right to cancel any program where registration numbers are not adequate to run an effective program. Families will be notified and fully refunded. 

At the end of the day (4:00 pm), parents will be charged $25 per child for every 15 minutes. After three (3) delays, Franco-STEAM Camp reserves the right to refuse access to the camp. If the parents did not show up at 17:00 and did not call Camp officials and emergency contacts cannot be reached, Children's Aid will be contacted. A note will then be left at the door of the Camp to inform parents of the measures taken 

We expect all our participants to be respectful of their community and others. This includes, respect for materials, safety and well being of all. There will be no tolerance for physical or verbal abuse, intentional breakage of premises or equipment, theft or gesture that may be harmful to his or her own safety or the safety of others. At all times, Franco-STEAM officials reserve the right to expel participants if disrespectful actions are ongoing. It should be noted that the termination of the service contract does not release the parent whose child is expelled from the payment of fees paid to Franco-STEAM Camp.

Franco-STEAM Camp participants and their parents understand that the language of communication will be in French. This requires that participants adopt a positive and an open mindset to the French environment. 

To ensure an inclusive and safe environment for all our participants, we do not allow products containing peanuts or nuts. Please do not bring these products to the camp. If your child (ren) has severe allergies, complete the allergy form in the ''Forms'' section and return them to the first day of your child's camp.
